Whether it is to repair water damage or drainage following another tough Dyfi winter, cutting back the rapidly growing vegetation along the trail in the spring or refreshing the trail bed after years of hard riding, the trails always need maintenance. Beicio Mynydd Dyfi MTB organise regular dig days to ensure that the trails are always good to go. Quarterly dig days to cover the general maintenance of the trails and twice a year to work on specific aspects of a trail. Digs will start at 18.00 and finish at 20.30.
UPDATE: We’ve added another date, Thursday 14th July 2022, to continue improvement work to the classic Dyfi wild trail, “Elephants”.
We will continue to look to add more evening digs over the rest of the summer before reverting to weekend digs in the winter starting with an Autumn Equinox Dig ‘n’ Ride on 24th September.
To sign-up for our dig days, please complete the volunteer form below. For further information about being part of the Beicio Mynydd Dyfi MTB Dig Crew, please contact our Trail Maintenance Co-ordinator: firstname.lastname@example.org
